The team of Centre for early child development “Patechka”, has attended the International Multifaceted conference on Early child development organise by Medical University Plovdiv. It was held on 4 – 5 April 2025, and among the speakers were paediatricians, child neurologists, endocrinologists, child nutritionists, clinical psychologists, and other specialists in early child interventions, diagnosis and treatment. The event was attended by more than 500 specialists and students in the relevant fields who have discussed the latest trends in Medical and psychosocial support of neurotypical and neurodivergent children as well as approaches for the support of harmonious child development and prevention of physical and mental health issues. In the informal part of the international conference, the representatives of Patechka, introduced the EcoRehabASD project and distributed flyers.
One of the key outcomes of the conference was the launched clubs of specialists working in the field of early child development, among whose members are Patechka as well. This provides further opportunities for collaboration and mainstreaming of EcoRehabASD results.
The event also has opened new opportunities for cooperations with stakeholders who are willing to take part in the piloting of EcoRehabASD training programme. In this respect, introductory training session was planned as part of a field visit that will take place in Varna city in May and the host organization will be “The Green Yard of Varna” part of the international network initially launched by Françoise Dolto (French pediatrician and psychoanalyst.).
