Multiplier Event in Burgos

In October 28, the multiplier event for the European EcoRehabASD project took place in Burgos, Spain. The event was held at the old Burgos train station, in collaboration with the city council.

Our colleagues from Autismo Burgos, Moisés García Fernández and Marta González Riocerezo, with the collaboration of other professionals from the organization, explained various aspects of the project, as seen in the poster, such as: the presentation of the project, the results to be achieved, the project website, and how to access the platform to take the two courses resulting from the project. Both courses are aimed at education professionals and family members, offering them knowledge, skills, and strategies that they can implement when caring for children with ASD and learning difficulties. One of the courses focuses on developing outdoor activities in eco-friendly environments based on the Montessori methodology, and the other offers theoretical and practical information on the development of activities based on sensory integration, also outdoors. Both courses offer extensive theoretical and practical information with multiple examples of activities. The event could be followed in person and online. There was a large turnout, with almost 400 people participating online and around 30 in person.
